Step into a dynamic role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, providing guidance and expertise to support positive behavioral outcomes in a school setting for the 25/26 school year. This full-time, on-site opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through May 28th (dependent on emergency days). This position centers around a coaching and training model rather than direct ABA service delivery.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple buildings, collaborating with IEP teams on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and the development or review of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Additionally, you will contribute to the implementation and improvement of the Tier I/II/III Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for behavior, assisted by a lead BCBA and district administrator. Your insights and recommendations will empower educators and help foster an inclusive and supportive environment for students.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong background in conducting FBAs and designing BIPs
- Skilled in coaching, training, and supporting educators and staff
- Ability to navigate and contribute to MTSS frameworks
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a behavioral consultant across several schools
- Support IEP teams with FBAs, BIPs, and data-driven recommendations
- Coach and mentor educators and staff in positive behavioral supports
- Collaborate on the development and refinement of the behavioral MTSS system
- Work with a team of professionals, including lead BCBA and district administration
