Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to school-aged children
- Knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and development of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach when working with educators, staff, and families
- Strong communication, assessment, and documentation abilities
- State licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as required for BCBAs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop data-driven intervention strategies
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents, supporting them in effective behavioral strategies
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform progress and refine interventions
- Ensure compliance with special education regulations and ethical best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings as the behavioral subject matter expert
- Adapt interventions and supports to meet evolving student needs
