Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland.
  • National BCBA certification required.
  • Thorough knowledge of behavior support and intensive-needs strategies in school settings.
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Commitment to professional collaboration with educators and specialized teams.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday (35 daytime hours per week), supporting students within a vibrant, collaborative school environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs to determine supports tailored to students’ unique needs.
  • Develop clear and effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in partnership with IEP teams, ensuring plans are individualized and actionable.
  • Train instructional and support staff on BIP implementation, ensuring that interventions are applied with fidelity.
  • Monitor the fidelity of BIP execution and analyze data to assess student progress, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a team-based approach to student support.
