Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland.
- National BCBA certification required.
- Thorough knowledge of behavior support and intensive-needs strategies in school settings.
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Commitment to professional collaboration with educators and specialized teams.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday (35 daytime hours per week), supporting students within a vibrant, collaborative school environment.
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs to determine supports tailored to students’ unique needs.
- Develop clear and effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) in partnership with IEP teams, ensuring plans are individualized and actionable.
- Train instructional and support staff on BIP implementation, ensuring that interventions are applied with fidelity.
- Monitor the fidelity of BIP execution and analyze data to assess student progress, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a team-based approach to student support.
