Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience supporting students in school-based or pediatric settings
- Proficiency in functional behavior assessments and development of behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to train and supervise staff in implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition strategies
- Organized, compassionate, and adaptable to dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional analyses
- Develop data-driven behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers
- Provide ongoing training and consultation for staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment with proactive behavioral approaches
- Involve families in the planning and execution of behavioral supports
