Elementary Middle School Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Leland, North Carolina

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll collaborate with dedicated educational teams to help students reach their fullest potential. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to partner with various schools to provide critical behavioral supports.

Key Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and appropriate licensure
• Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Proficiency collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with IEP processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to clear documentation
• Ability to tailor support strategies for students across diverse grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), aligning with school goals
• Provide ongoing consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support teams
• Monitor progress, analyze behavioral data, and maintain thorough and timely documentation
• Work effectively with IEP teams, actively participating in meetings and contributing expertise
• Support school staff in implementing positive behavior supports and fostering inclusive learning environments
