Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with children or adolescents in school-based settings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Ability to develop, implement, monitor, and adjust behavior intervention plans
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to student progress
- Commitment to ethical standards and evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized intervention plans for students
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to staff and paraprofessionals
- Facilitate communication and goal-setting with families and educational stakeholders
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent plan implementation
- Monitor and document student progress, regularly updating support strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute insights and advocate for optimal student outcomes
- Offer consultation and professional development regarding behavioral strategies and interventions
