Seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract opportunity working onsite in a vibrant school environment supporting students and staff for the 2026-2027 academic year. Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Experience modeling intervention strategies for educators and training teams
- Demonstrated ability to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other BCBAs
- Proficiency in organizing and managing multiple priorities across school sites
- Excellent communication skills for facilitating collaboration and presenting information
- Familiarity with current evidence-based practices in behavioral support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document FBAs; develop and implement effective BIPs
- Model intervention strategies for staff; deliver comprehensive trainings in behavioral interventions
- Supervise RBTs and mentor BCBA colleagues, ensuring quality service delivery
- Observe classrooms and individual students; make recommendations to support educational planning
- Collect and analyze behavioral data; establish data systems to monitor student progress
- Guide program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Prepare presentations, reports, and training materials for a variety of stakeholders
- Maintain electronic files and records, keeping all documentation compliant and up to date
