High School Middle School Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Long Beach, CA

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis. In this dynamic school-based role, you'll collaborate with educators, students, and families to create positive change and promote student progress.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• BCBA certification required
• Active state license to practice as a BCBA
• Experience supporting elementary, middle, and high school-aged students
• Prior school-based experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments for K-12 students
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and monitor progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers
• Provide training and coaching to school personnel regarding behavioral strategies
• Participate in student support meetings, including IEPs and team consultations
• Collect and analyze data to inform interventions and report on progress
• Foster a positive, proactive learning environment for all students
• Support a caseload spanning elementary through high school levels
