Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification
- Valid licensure in the state
- Previous experience in schools (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention planning
- Collaborative communication style, able to partner effectively with teachers, administration, and families
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support implementation of effective behavioral strategies in classroom and school settings
- Provide direct support, modeling, and feedback to staff regarding best practices in behavioral interventions
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust interventions as needed to maximize positive outcomes
- Deliver training sessions or workshops to enhance school personnel’s understanding of ABA principles and practices
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to meetings as a valued interdisciplinary team member
