Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification and state licensure required
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions and assessments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to create and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and support varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to student needs
- Train and support instructional staff in the implementation of behavioral strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding behavior goals and supports
- Offer guidance to families on behavioral strategies that can be utilized at home
