Necessary Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience working within school settings is preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general and special education teachers
- Comfortable supporting students from 1st through 3rd grade and 10th through 12th grade
- Strong skills in functional behavior assessment, data collection, and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Passion for cultivating positive student outcomes and encouraging growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments for students in assigned grade levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Consult with classroom staff to deliver hands-on support and professional development
- Attend IEP meetings as a behavioral expert, contributing thoughtful recommendations
- Track and analyze behavioral data, making adjustments as needed
- Engage families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care and interventions
