This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with educators and administrators, working closely with students in grades 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, and 12. Utilize your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) skills to help students achieve their full potential and create a positive classroom environment.
Ideal candidates will bring their passion for applied behavior analysis and their experience supporting children and adolescents in educational environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with behavior intervention plans and data collection
- Ability to support students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside educators and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop intervention plans
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement behavioral strategies
- Train teachers and classroom staff on positive behavior support techniques
- Monitor, document, and adjust interventions as needed based on data and student progress
- Provide ongoing consultation to educational teams for students receiving services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
