Make a meaningful impact across a diverse school community as a Behavior Specialist, supporting students from all grade levels throughout the academic year. This contract opportunity spans from August 3rd to June 25th and offers a flexible schedule aligned with school operating hours (Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week). You’ll work district-wide, collaborating with an established team of specialists and dedicated behavior technicians who support each elementary site, with additional techs assigned as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in a school setting.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple school sites and grade levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and create behavior intervention plans, supporting students of all grade levels.
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and administrators to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor behavior technicians assigned to school sites.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Provide training as well as ongoing support for school personnel and families.
  • Coordinate caseload needs across 24 schools and adapt support according to available staffing.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
