Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification with valid Maryland licensure
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and behavior intervention planning
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
  • Passion for supporting students with a range of behavioral and learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for K-12 students
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and gather/interpret relevant data
  • Provide consultation and ongoing support to school staff and student teams
  • Deliver training and guidance to teachers, aides, and families regarding behavior interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and progress reviews
  • Maintain accurate and timely records to comply with district and regulatory requirements
  • Support positive school climate and student engagement through evidence-based practices
