Make a difference in the lives of students with severe disabilities and autism by stepping into a dynamic, school-based BCBA role. This opportunity begins August 2026 and runs through June 2027, offering the chance to support a diverse student population (ages 2–22) in a collaborative educational environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active DE BCBA licensure/certification (must provide verification with application)
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally supporting students with severe disabilities and autism
  • Skilled in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Proven ability to de-escalate challenging situations and participate on a crisis intervention team
  • Prior collaboration on IEP teams and supporting data collection for behavior interventions
  • Availability for full-time, on-site work (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral support to students and staff
  • Conduct and document FBAs, and develop/modify BSPs as needed
  • Participate as an active member of the crisis team, assisting with de-escalation and intervention when necessary
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to craft and implement behavior goals for IEPs
  • Train and support school personnel in behavior intervention strategies and data tracking
