Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Prior experience working in schools or educational environments preferred
  • Knowledge of current behavior intervention techniques and best practices
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality
  • Ability to develop and implement functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop/monitor intervention plans to support student learning and social-emotional growth
  • Provide direct, consultative, and training services to staff and families to build capacity in behavior management
  • Collect and analyze data, adjusting strategies to ensure progress toward student goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in IEP meetings and other student support settings
  • Offer guidance on positive behavior supports, classroom management, and evidence-based practices
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with requirements
