Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active BCBA certification
- Previous experience as a BCBA in a school or educational setting preferred
- Thorough understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students referred by educators or administrators
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct support and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff regarding behavioral strategies and best practices
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on student progress to adjust interventions as necessary
- Facilitate training sessions for school staff on ABA principles and behavior management techniques
- Regularly communicate with parents or guardians to keep them engaged and informed about student progress and strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and district policies related to special education and student support
