Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience supporting students at elementary, junior, and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of data collection, applied behavior analysis principles, and behavior intervention planning
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, counselors, and families
- Ability to develop individualized programs and oversee paraprofessionals or RBTs as needed
- Experience creating functional behavior assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and create comprehensive, individualized behavior intervention plans
- Work directly with 1st through 12th grade students, addressing a range of behavioral and academic goals
- Provide coaching, modeling, and feedback to teachers and support staff on effective strategies
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Facilitate meetings with families and staff to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress, and consultations
- Stay current on best practices and ongoing professional development in behavior analysis
