Apply NowStep into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting the needs of elementary students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract role is available immediately and will continue through the end of the current school year as well as the first semester of the upcoming school year. You'll play a key role in advancing student outcomes within a vibrant and inclusive educational setting.
Your primary focus will be providing expertise and services to support approximately 24 inclusion students in grades K-3, along with 5 students in a sub-separate classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic, collaborative school environment where you can truly make a difference.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA certification is required
- Experience working with K-3 students, particularly in public school settings, is highly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, behavior plan development, and direct work with students and staff
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and case management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and design effective intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support for classroom teachers and support staff
- Train and guide paraprofessionals and educators on behavior intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
What to Expect:
- Immediate start with a contract running until June 22nd, with an extension opportunity for the next school year’s first semester
- Full-time hours: 37.5–40 hours per week
- Well-structured caseload focusing on inclusion and specialized support students
- No extended school year (ESY) or summer coverage required
