Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Mckinney, Texas

In this rewarding, full-time contract role, you will help create positive learning environments and empower students and staff with the tools needed for success. This position offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week supporting school-aged children and collaborating with dedicated educational teams near McKinney, TX.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred
• Active Texas teaching certificate with SPED endorsements
• Professional background in special education, counseling, social work, or a closely related field
• Highly desired: experience as a school counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or in psychology/social work
• Deep understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and ethical standards in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students
• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs
• Actively participate in ARD, IEP, RtI, and Section 504 meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide in-classroom support to teachers and staff, assisting with positive behavior management
• Respond to and assist with crisis intervention scenarios as needed
• Communicate ongoing progress and best practices to staff and families, promoting a collaborative approach
