Qualifications & Skills Desired:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certification with special education endorsements
• Prior experience in special education, social work, counseling, or a related discipline
• Preferred backgrounds: School counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), psychology, or social work
• Capable of developing and supporting effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Proficient in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and monitor customized Behavior Intervention Plans for individual students
• Work closely with faculty to identify, address, and monitor behavioral needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams by attending ARD, IEP, RtI, and Section 504 meetings
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing behavioral support across classrooms
• Consult and train staff members on evidence-based interventions for student achievement

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week and is compensated starting at $30 per hour, commensurate with your experience in the field.
