Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Meriden, Connecticut

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active BCBA certification, in good standing
• Background in school-based or educational environments is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to conduct FBAs and develop effective BIPs
• Experience supervising or coaching staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
• Guide and support staff in implementing behavior plans, providing ongoing supervision to RBTs and other team members
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a consistent and effective approach to behavior strategies
• Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and determine next steps in intervention planning
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insightful ABA recommendations tailored to each student's needs
