Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active BCBA certification, in good standing
- Background in school-based or educational environments is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to conduct FBAs and develop effective BIPs
- Experience supervising or coaching staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Guide and support staff in implementing behavior plans, providing ongoing supervision to RBTs and other team members
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a consistent and effective approach to behavior strategies
- Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and determine next steps in intervention planning
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insightful ABA recommendations tailored to each student's needs
