Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting a dynamic therapeutic social emotional program. This role is essential in providing immediate and ongoing support as students transition from specialized settings back into general education classrooms. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to positively impact students in grades K-8, working at two closely located schools.

This position involves overseeing a manageable caseload of 40 students, with support from school social workers, behavior technicians (BTs/RBTs), and special education teachers, ensuring you have a robust network around you. Your expertise will directly inform classroom practices and team efficacy, without the need for 1:1 student sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training to BTs and other staff on behavioral interventions and best practices
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and consultations for both K-5 and 6-8th grade groups
  • Collaborate closely with social workers, BTs/RBTs, and special education teachers to support students’ transitions to general education
  • Develop behavior intervention plans and monitor implementation fidelity
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere focused on student growth and staff development

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, current and in good standing
  • Previous experience working in school or therapeutic settings is highly valued
  • Strong foundation in behavioral assessment, intervention planning, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and consultative skills to work effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting both elementary and middle school populations
