A traveling Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role is available, focusing on educational environments in Meriden, CT. This position involves working closely with students in a school setting to improve behavioral outcomes and support staff through applied behavior analysis techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Supervise and support staff, including Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), in implementing behavior plans effectively.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to maintain consistency in behavior management strategies.
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions for intervention adjustments.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing ABA expertise to the development of student goals and services.

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification is required.
  • Preferred experience includes working in school-based or educational settings, demonstrating familiarity with the unique needs of students in these environments.
