Job Type Contract

Make a meaningful impact in local schools by providing expert behavioral support as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with self-contained PreK programs over the academic year. With a 35-hour full-time schedule, you'll support multiple schools (typically 5-7), collaborating with teachers and staff to help students succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct observations in self-contained PreK classrooms and collaborate with teachers
  • Analyze classroom and student data to inform recommendations for behavioral strategies
  • Model behavior intervention techniques and support staff implementation
  • Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and assist with the creation of behavior intervention plans
  • Facilitate data collection and provide ongoing strategies for staff development
  • Travel between assigned schools as an itinerant BCBA, ensuring consistent support across sites

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current and active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience working in school environments, especially with early childhood or PreK populations, is highly preferred
  • Strong background in providing consultation and support rather than direct student services
  • Solid skills in conducting FBAs and developing data-driven interventions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability as you serve multiple campuses
  • Ability to complete required fingerprinting (or update AHCA Clearinghouse records) and obtain a JLA badge

Benefits include consistent, school-based hours and the chance to influence educational outcomes for students at the program level. If you’re ready to share your behavioral expertise and collaborate with educators to drive positive change, we encourage you to submit your application today for this fulfilling contract role!
