Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, or significant experience as an ABA Therapist in school-based settings
- Experience developing, monitoring, and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and the use of ABA principles in educational environments
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, students, and families
- Commitment to student growth, diversity, and inclusion
Responsibilities:
- Partner with administrative personnel in the development of behavior programs, potentially supporting Dean of Behavior functions
- Design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data to craft effective strategies
- Train and support teachers and classroom staff in ABA-based approaches and crisis intervention
- Foster an equitable, respectful, and safe school culture for all students by promoting positive behavioral supports
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure behavior interventions align with district goals and policies
