Make an impact supporting students with significant needs as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school environment near Milford, DE. This contract opportunity allows you to foster growth and positive change among students with severe disabilities and autism, ranging in age from early childhood through young adulthood (ages 2–22).
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active BCBA licensure/certification in the state of Delaware
- Demonstrated experience in working with students with severe disabilities and autism, preferably within educational settings
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) for individual students as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Develop and implement tailored Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) to help students achieve measurable behavioral progress
- Actively participate on the school crisis team, utilizing de-escalation techniques as situations arise
- Collaborate closely with educators and specialized staff to set effective behavior goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support ongoing data collection and analysis to measure progress and guide interventions
- Offer consultative support and training for school staff to enhance effective behavioral supports throughout the school community
