Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Milford, Delaware

This role focuses on working with individuals ages 2–22 who have severe disabilities and autism, collaborating closely with both students and school staff.

Qualifications: • Current and active BCBA certification/licensure in Delaware is required • Demonstrated experience supporting students with significant behavioral and developmental challenges preferred • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively partner with multidisciplinary teams • Knowledge of Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) processes • Familiarity with IEP development, especially behavior-related goals

Key Responsibilities: • Participate actively on the school’s crisis intervention team, utilizing de-escalation strategies as needed • Conduct and document comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify needs and intervention strategies • Develop and implement effective Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), tailoring interventions to meet each student’s unique needs • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to identify and support behavior goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Support data collection processes, ensuring accurate tracking of student progress and intervention efficacy • Provide ongoing consultation and behavioral support to staff, coaching best practices and fostering a positive learning environment
