A school-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available in Milford, DE, focusing on supporting students with severe disabilities and autism ranging from ages 2 to 22. This contract role involves providing specialized behavioral services in an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts as part of the crisis team
- Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify factors influencing student behavior
- Developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborating with educational teams to establish behavior goals integrated into Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Supporting accurate and ongoing data collection related to student behavior and intervention outcomes
- Offering behavioral consultation and support to both school staff and students to promote a positive learning environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure or certification is required
- Experience working with students with severe disabilities and autism within a school setting
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, intervention planning, and data analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and school personnel
- Competence in crisis management and de-escalation techniques
