Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active BCBA certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Effective communicator comfortable engaging with educators, families, and students
- Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to train and provide ongoing support to school staff
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Perform thorough assessments to determine student needs and track progress
- Lead training sessions for teachers and staff on behavioral strategies and data collection
- Facilitate collaboration in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Monitor compliance, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for school stakeholders
- Provide direct support to students, modeling interventions and reinforcing positive behaviors
