Key Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification required
- Prior experience with children and adolescents in academic settings, ideally with PreK-12
- Strong grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis principles
- Excellent observational and assessment skills
- Effective communicator and collaborator with education professionals and caregivers
- Adaptable, creative, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide guidance to school staff on behavioral intervention strategies
- Oversee implementation of behavior support plans for students
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and family members
- Track progress, prepare documentation, and maintain all reporting requirements
- Work collaboratively as part of an educational team to ensure student success
