A fantastic opportunity awaits for a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work full-time within a supportive school setting for the entire 26/27 academic year. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, collaborating with students and staff across multiple sites, Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Current and valid BCBA certification
- Experience supporting students in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel between various school sites within the district as needed
- Reliable, organized, and ready to adapt to different school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Provide direct and consultative ABA services within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to ensure consistency of support
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and maintain accurate documentation
- Offer training and coaching to school staff regarding behavioral strategies and interventions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reports and IEPs
