Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Prior experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Solid background in conducting functional behavior assessments.
- Skilled communicator comfortable engaging with staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to develop clear, actionable Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Experience leading training or professional development sessions a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a district-level behavior team ensuring best practices in behavioral support.
- Supervise and mentor RBTs in the delivery of individualized student services.
- Conduct detailed student observations and perform functional behavior assessments.
- Partner with teachers, specialists, and families to share recommendations and strategies.
- Draft and update evidence-based Behavior Implementation Plans (BIPs).
- Deliver engaging, informative professional development focused on effective behavior modification techniques.
