Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience in schools or educational settings preferred, but not mandatory
- Comfortable providing supervision and mentorship to aspiring BCBAs (ABA apprentices)
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams
Core Duties:
- Deliver behavior support for classroom teams throughout the district
- Mentor and supervise ABA apprentices, ensuring they fulfill both restricted and unrestricted hours necessary for BCBA certification
- Provide ongoing training to staff on behavior intervention strategies and best practices
- Assist in the completion of FBAs and development of individualized PBSPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
This role operates within typical school hours (8:00 am–4:00 pm), with caseloads determined based on need. Immediate start is available, offering the chance to step in and make a tangible difference from day one.
