Step into a meaningful contract assignment supporting students across three closely situated sites near Windsor, CT, including the surrounding areas. This opportunity is designed for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide coverage during a maternity leave from September 1st to January 5th. With a part-time schedule of 20 hours each week, you’ll make a direct impact on secondary-aged students while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
You’ll serve a caseload across three locations: a middle school (15 students), high school (22 students), and an offsite campus (6 students), collaborating closely with educational teams. If you’re a credentialed BCBA who thrives in dynamic school environments, this role offers the chance to utilize your expertise in behavior analysis and intervention.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification is required
- Experience working with middle and high school-aged students preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Strong assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development and data-driven practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop effective intervention strategies
- Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams, supporting staff in best practices
- Provide training and ongoing guidance to school personnel and families
- Regularly collect and interpret behavioral data to inform planning
