Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Demonstrated experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) within educational settings
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, designing interventions, and training staff
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and report behavioral data clearly
  • Experience supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and oversee behavior intervention plans for students
  • Work closely with classroom staff to implement ABA-based interventions and monitor progress
  • Provide training and ongoing support to teachers, aides, and other team members, building ABA knowledge in the school community
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports for school administration and family members
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing insights for student support and behavior-related programming
  • Support schoolwide positive behavior initiatives and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive school environment
  • Remain adaptable for potential leadership responsibilities as more information about the Dean of Behavior role becomes available
