Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Demonstrated experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) within educational settings
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, designing interventions, and training staff
- Capability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and report behavioral data clearly
- Experience supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and oversee behavior intervention plans for students
- Work closely with classroom staff to implement ABA-based interventions and monitor progress
- Provide training and ongoing support to teachers, aides, and other team members, building ABA knowledge in the school community
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare progress reports for school administration and family members
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights for student support and behavior-related programming
- Support schoolwide positive behavior initiatives and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive school environment
- Remain adaptable for potential leadership responsibilities as more information about the Dean of Behavior role becomes available
