The role offers seamless transition time, allowing you to shadow the current BCBA before fully stepping into the position.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure is required
- Demonstrated experience or knowledge working in educational settings, especially with students exhibiting challenging behaviors
- Background supporting interventions in structured, therapeutic classrooms
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic student and program needs
- Clear communication and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality behavioral analysis services within the Pyramid Program
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and provide data-driven recommendations
- Provide ongoing consultation and training to school staff and families
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings, sometimes held after school hours
- Participate in shadowing and transition activities prior to assuming full responsibilities in December
