Step into a contract opportunity supporting students in grades 7 through 12 (up to age 22) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the 2026-2027 school year. With a part-time schedule (20 hours/week) and consistent hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3 pm (with a 30-minute lunch), you’ll work onsite, collaborating with educational teams to create positive learning environments.
Key qualifications and experience that will set you apart:
- Current BCBA Certification and completion of 8-hour supervision training required; will also consider candidates with an LBA.
- Experience as a Behavior Specialist within school settings is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and best practices for supervising RBTs.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, students, and families.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and confidentiality.
Primary responsibilities in this role include:
- Supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ensuring high-quality implementation of behavioral plans.
- Designing, monitoring, and updating Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
- Collecting and analyzing data to guide interventions and track student progress.
- Providing training, guidance, and support to staff regarding behavioral interventions and strategies.
- Engaging in regular communication with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster student success.
