What You’ll Bring:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- National certification required
- Previous experience in school-based behavioral management, especially with high school students
- Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Confidence in transitioning BIP and FBA duties from a school psychologist
- Excellent communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with school staff
- Ability to provide clear instruction and direct support to teachers and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary implementer of behavioral interventions within the classroom
- Take charge of conducting FBAs and writing BIPs
- Collaborate with educators to train and coach them on plan implementation
- Deliver hands-on, ongoing support to high school students with behavioral needs
- Maintain detailed documentation and monitor student progress
- Work cooperatively with school leadership, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in panel interviews; candidates’ availability will help coordinate scheduling
