What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • National certification required
  • Previous experience in school-based behavioral management, especially with high school students
  • Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Confidence in transitioning BIP and FBA duties from a school psychologist
  • Excellent communication skills for mentoring and collaborating with school staff
  • Ability to provide clear instruction and direct support to teachers and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary implementer of behavioral interventions within the classroom
  • Take charge of conducting FBAs and writing BIPs
  • Collaborate with educators to train and coach them on plan implementation
  • Deliver hands-on, ongoing support to high school students with behavioral needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation and monitor student progress
  • Work cooperatively with school leadership, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in panel interviews; candidates’ availability will help coordinate scheduling
