Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain certification for practice as a BCBA in Delaware
- Experience working with K-12 students and familiarity with school-based behavioral interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to assess behavioral needs, develop intervention plans, and provide staff training
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to inform individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement and monitor behavior strategies
- Provide ongoing training and support to school staff and families
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports on student outcomes
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Adapt interventions as needed to align with students’ evolving needs and school goals
