Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • State licensure or eligibility to obtain certification for practice as a BCBA in Delaware
  • Experience working with K-12 students and familiarity with school-based behavioral interventions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to assess behavioral needs, develop intervention plans, and provide staff training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to inform individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement and monitor behavior strategies
  • Provide ongoing training and support to school staff and families
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress reports on student outcomes
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Adapt interventions as needed to align with students’ evolving needs and school goals
