Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Newark, NJ

Make an immediate impact working directly with students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification
• Proven experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans within a school setting
• Familiarity with conducting functional behavior assessments
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents
• Ability to provide staff training in behavior strategies and data collection
• Dedication to fostering a positive, supportive environment for students of varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students through observation and data analysis; develop individualized behavior plans to address specific needs.
• Provide ongoing direct and consultative services to students and staff, making recommendations based on best practices in ABA.
• Train and support teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing behavioral interventions and collecting data.
• Monitor progress, revise interventions as needed, and prepare reports documenting student outcomes.
• Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and school teams.
• Advocate for students' behavioral needs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
