Make an immediate impact working directly with students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Proven experience designing and implementing behavior intervention plans within a school setting
- Familiarity with conducting functional behavior assessments
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and parents
- Ability to provide staff training in behavior strategies and data collection
- Dedication to fostering a positive, supportive environment for students of varying abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students through observation and data analysis; develop individualized behavior plans to address specific needs.
- Provide ongoing direct and consultative services to students and staff, making recommendations based on best practices in ABA.
- Train and support teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing behavioral interventions and collecting data.
- Monitor progress, revise interventions as needed, and prepare reports documenting student outcomes.
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and school teams.
- Advocate for students' behavioral needs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
