Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Newark, NJ

Help support student success by bringing your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to an engaging educational setting on a contract basis near Newark, NJ. Key Qualifications:

• Must hold active BCBA certification
• Previous experience with school-aged children in an educational or clinical setting
• Strong understanding of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dedicated to evidence-based practices and continuing education in behavior analysis

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and create individualized intervention plans

• Train and provide ongoing guidance to school staff, paraprofessionals, and families

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies that promote academic and social-emotional growth

• Monitor progress, document findings, and adjust interventions as needed for effectiveness

• Support classroom management techniques and help implement positive behavioral support systems school-wide

• Foster inclusive environments ensuring equitable access to resources for all students
