Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Newark, NJ

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Newark, NJ. This onsite contract position offers a work schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 30 hours per week. The role primarily supports 2-3 classrooms, providing targeted behavioral interventions and guidance.

Key responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to students' needs. The BCBA will also collaborate closely with faculty, delivering training and coaching in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to enhance instructional methods and promote positive student outcomes.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential (BCBA)
• Proven experience conducting FBAs and designing effective BIPs within school settings
• Ability to coach and educate school staff in ABA methodologies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and administration
