Key qualifications to succeed in this role include:
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed School Psychologist
- Experience working in school-based settings, with knowledge of IEP process and behavior intervention planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to analyze data and create effective, evidence-based interventions
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Conducting assessments and functional behavior analyses
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans
- Providing direct support and consultation for teachers and school staff
- Participating in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary teams
- Delivering training and professional development for educators on behavioral best practices
- Promoting positive behavior supports and mental wellness on campus
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation
