Step into a rewarding role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting a dedicated therapeutic social-emotional program focused on reintegrating students into general education. This contract position runs from August 27, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of students while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

You'll be working with K-5 and 6-8th grade students across two conveniently located school sites, supporting a caseload of approximately 40 students. Classrooms are small, with 5-6 students each, ensuring a manageable and impactful workload. This environment is supported by a collaborative team, including social workers, behavior technicians, registered behavior technicians, and special education teachers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification is required.
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA’s) and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to support, train, and consult with staff.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic or social-emotional programs is highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consult regularly with teachers and support staff to optimize behavioral interventions.
  • Conduct FBA’s and develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Train and mentor behavior technicians and implementers—no direct 1:1 with students, as this is covered by the BT’s.
  • Collaborate with the school’s supportive multidisciplinary team to foster positive student outcomes.
