Empower students and support educators by providing expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school-based setting near Norwalk, CT, with easy access to Bridgeport. Step into an impactful contract position, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the current school year (EOSY, June).

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
  • Previous experience working within school environments preferred
  • Deep understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Exceptional communication skills when consulting with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to create and implement data-driven behavioral intervention plans
  • Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data
  • Develop, implement, and monitor student intervention and behavior support plans
  • Provide guidance, modeling, and support to educational staff for plan fidelity
  • Offer training and consultative support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents
  • Attend IEP meetings and effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Regularly review progress, adjust strategies as needed, and maintain detailed documentation
  • Serve as a proactive advocate for student needs within the school communities
