Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, current and in good standing
- Licensed to practice as a BCBA in the state
- Proven experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
- Ability to create and implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans
- Experience conducting functional behavioral assessments and data analysis
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive educational environments
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collaborate with school teams to design, oversee, and evaluate behavioral interventions for students
- Conduct individualized assessments and analyze data to shape effective support strategies
- Train and support school staff on positive behavioral supports and data collection best practices
- Communicate progress and adapt plans as needed through regular meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with district and state policies regarding behavioral health in education
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding evidence-based practices for student behavior management
- Document all interactions, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school and professional standards
