Certified Elementary Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Norwalk, IA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, current and in good standing
• Licensed to practice as a BCBA in the state
• Proven experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
• Ability to create and implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans
• Experience conducting functional behavioral assessments and data analysis
• Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive educational environments

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with school teams to design, oversee, and evaluate behavioral interventions for students
• Conduct individualized assessments and analyze data to shape effective support strategies
• Train and support school staff on positive behavioral supports and data collection best practices
• Communicate progress and adapt plans as needed through regular meetings with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with district and state policies regarding behavioral health in education
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding evidence-based practices for student behavior management
• Document all interactions, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school and professional standards
