Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Maryland is essential
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
  • Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Strong background in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner with interdisciplinary teams and provide staff training
  • Well-organized with a detail-oriented approach to documentation and data analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and collaborate closely with IEP teams to craft, implement, and refine student-specific Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Train and mentor school staff on effective BIP strategies, ensuring programs are delivered with fidelity
  • Oversee the ongoing collection of behavioral data and monitor the effectiveness of interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, track progress, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to promote holistic student support
