Location: Nutley, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Contract Dates: Mid-December 2026 – June 17, 2027
Caseload: K–12
Setting: School-Based

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in hand required
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
• Experience supporting students with intensive behavioral needs
• Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Pay: $50+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

• Full-time BCBA opportunity supporting students in grades K–12
• Work with students presenting more intensive behavioral challenges
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention strategies
• Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on behavioral data

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide direct behavioral support and consultation
• Train and support school staff in implementing behavior strategies
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
