Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and keeping detailed, compliant records
  • Strong assessment, data collection, and analytical skills
  • Flexibility and positivity in a dynamic educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and design effective intervention strategies
  • Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families on behavior supports
  • Monitor student progress, adjust plans as needed, and document data consistently
  • Facilitate IEP meetings and provide input related to behavioral goals and supports
  • Stay current with best practices and advances in ABA therapy and special education
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for students with diverse needs
