Key Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification and current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working within a school, district, or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and data collection
- Demonstrated success with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and caseloads within a dynamic educational setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and analyze collected data to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans in accordance with best practices
- Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, offering guidance and training on ABA strategies and classroom management
- Provide direct consultation and modeling of interventions to ensure effective implementation
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational stakeholders to align behavioral supports with academic goals
- Regularly document progress and make data-driven recommendations for ongoing support
