Key Qualifications:

  • Valid BCBA certification and current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working within a school, district, or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and data collection
  • Demonstrated success with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and caseloads within a dynamic educational setting

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and analyze collected data to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans in accordance with best practices
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, offering guidance and training on ABA strategies and classroom management
  • Provide direct consultation and modeling of interventions to ensure effective implementation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational stakeholders to align behavioral supports with academic goals
  • Regularly document progress and make data-driven recommendations for ongoing support
