Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current BCBA certification and good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Experience applying ABA principles in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills in developing and evaluating behavioral intervention plans
  • Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Ability to provide training and consultation for school staff and caregivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and collect ongoing behavioral data
  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans that align with student goals and IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and support staff to support consistent plan implementation
  • Offer coaching and professional development for staff to ensure best practices in behavioral interventions
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress; adjust strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team problem-solving discussions
