Advance your career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a contract position supporting PreK programs across multiple schools in the Jacksonville area. This is an on-site, itinerant role where you’ll leverage your expertise to make an impact in self-contained classroom settings by guiding educators, sharing best practices, and enhancing student support systems.
You'll bring your BCBA knowledge to a collaborative school environment, focusing on empowering teachers and facilitating optimal learning outcomes for young students. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, working full-time, 35 hours per week during traditional school hours. You'll support 5-7 schools with your skills—specific campuses assigned closer to the start date.
What You’ll Need:
- Active BCBA licensure in good standing
- Prior experience in educational settings or supporting PreK/special education strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively in an itinerant role, managing multiple assignments across locations
- Strong skills in observation, developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), data collection, and modeling strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers and school staff
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting/background checks per Florida AHCA Clearinghouse requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide observation, consultation, and coaching to classroom teachers in self-contained PreK programs
- Model evidence-based strategies and assist with individualized supports
- Collaborate on data collection methods, guide staff through FBA processes, and recommend interventions
- Support multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing professional development as needed
