An exciting opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based setting for the 2026/2027 academic year. This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time, on-site roles open to fit your schedule. The assignment begins in August and continues through late May, supporting students, staff, and programs with expertise in behavioral interventions.
In this role, you'll conduct functional behavior assessments, create and implement individualized behavior intervention plans, and closely monitor student progress throughout the year. Your collaboration will extend to supervising a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), while also providing guidance district-wide, offering insight and support wherever behavioral needs arise.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational settings
- Strong skills in drafting and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Effective collaboration and supervision experience with RBTs or similar staff
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to the needs of various schools within the district
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavior and provide data-driven recommendations
- Develop and oversee targeted behavior intervention plans
- Monitor, report, and adjust plans as needed to ensure student progress
- Supervise and collaborate with an RBT to implement strategies
- Provide consultation and support to school staff and administration
- Maintain current documentation and compliance with school protocols
- Be available during school hours (8:10 AM to 3:15 PM; Wednesdays until 4:15 PM), with flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules
