Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This position is situated near Orland Park, IL, and is available for either full-time or part-time commitment. Service will be delivered on-site, starting August 6th and continuing through May 16th, with exact duration adjusted for emergency days. The caseload, including the number of students, will be determined prior to assignment, allowing for optimal alignment with your expertise.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong confidence in developing, implementing, and adapting individualized behavior plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and related service providers
- Passion for helping students achieve their social, emotional, and academic goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students presenting a variety of needs
- Design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) grounded in data-driven strategies
- Monitor and record student progress, making recommendations for plan adjustments as needed
- Provide ongoing consultation and training to instructional staff in implementation of BIPs
- Communicate regularly with school teams and families about student progress
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in line with BCBA principles throughout service
